Extensions to this family home included a garden workroom and office with a patio surround. The aim was to create a space that required little energy to keep warm and that used as much natural light as possible. Aligning the panoramic corner windows with the south facing aspect of the garden made sure that the work space felt light and airy with minimal artificial light input and gave the kind of light that reinforces positive feelings in all of us.
